Lab Management
Program participants will identify classroom norms and strategies that contribute to effective classroom management in and of the VIL Lab. The focus of this session will be on managing the Lab space while working with emerging technology and the organization of materials in a tech-infused learning environment. Content explored will include: Tech fails and lesson saves, maintaining the Lab, inventorying Lab materials, sharing and promoting the Lab space with other teachers and in the community, and creating an inclusive student environment. Program participants will fill their toolkits with ideas and best practices as they learn from peers while brainstorming ideas in small group collaborative discussions.
